Yeah, that just happened to me twice in a row on my PC. And I’m not any newbie here. It’s not you , there’s something screwy going on.
How do we get a moderator on here to comment, if there is a new wrinkle in FR’s system? It definitely is discouraging, especially when out and about.
They probably just had to do a server reset or something. Stay tuned and see if it happens again.
I never had to log in to FReeRepublic when I use my iPad on vacation.
Maybe try the “Block Cookies” setting in Safari.
Go to “Settings” > “Safari” and select the “Block Cookies” setting. Check to see what it is. If it is “Always”, try changing it to “From third parties and advertisers”.
Maybe that will help.
