777 plant in Greensboro?
This is the same area that Piedmont was built.
Thank You.
Sometimes we need to keep the folks up to speed.
Merry Christmas
From this report it seems Missouri is willing to forgo 1.7B
Tennessee got VW for a mere 750.
We shall soon find out. I ask NC to go for it.
Yes indeed. We loved our local airline, Piedmont. But then Alleghany/Agony Air became U.S. Air/Scare and gobbled them up because Piedmont’s parent company’s XB went to sleep at the switch. For about a year after the buyout you could ride a U.S. Air in NC and tell which company the flight crew started with - gracious southern hospitality = Piedmont, curt/grouchy = U.S. Air.
The Democrat governor held a special legislative session to buy jobs for the unions. The big-government/big-corporate/big-union criminal complex at work.
Hold on just a minute. I have 48,000 miles with US Air this year. They sucked less than half the time. :^)
Well, I don’t know Missouri. If they want to play Obamaland they can kiss this deal goodbye.
It would be sweet for NC to get Boeing.
Well, the West Coast and Chicago seem to be out.
I think that corporate has had enough. They are getting their ass kicked.
I enjoy comparing my salary to a liberal that pays the DNC from their paycheck.
The information is catching on.
Looking at Huntsville, AL too.
Their future success will depend on getting away from the union thugs.
We have a Democrat here in North Carolina. Her name is Kay Hagan and her mouth has been planted on the regime in Washington for years.
Goodbye miss K and rinse/repeat upon your exit.
Huntsville is a good city. The problem you might have with NC is we own the body of government just like TN.
Is Alabama 100% Conservative in their legislature?
You went a little old school on me. Eastern Air and TWA were the good guys for me.
Here’s a story about what Boeing wants in order to move. They have all this where they are now. If this state would vote to turn us into a right to work state, this would be moot. But as a 35 year resident of this state...I don’t see that happening. Boeing has been slowly moving out since they moved their HQ to Chicago right after a similar labor strike a few years ago. The pompous asses out here are just like the Hostess bakers.

Would be great for Greensboro, having some good paying jobs with people actually ‘making things’. Anyone that goes there will quickly notice that most of the city is just a bunch of stores, convenience stores, restaurants, and banks. The areas that aren’t are pretty much a big ghetto.
Piedmont was indeed a gem. But I correctly ID’ed a Piedmont flight attendant just last year (on a Useless Air flight). She was a honey.
