The FDOTWH (Bo) might qualify to attend. As far as lowering the flag............... I’m way over this non stop flag lowering. My truck had a flat tire last week and nobody demanded that the flags be lowered. Why not just leave them at half staff and then raise them on the rare occasion when something good happens.

I’m glad you notice this garbage too. I am so sick and angered by constant flag-lowering. If not at US level, our commie governor is lowering the state flag for the death of a retired policeman and every other stupid reason. I swear flags are lowered so much I don’t even KNOW why mostly, and ask my husband if he knows when we meet again. Ever since 9-11 we’ve gone weak-kneed over every little thing not to mention massacres that have nothing to do with the health of the government.

Yep. I can recall the flags at half-staff maybe, maybe 3 times as I grew-up. Like the standing ovation, it has lost all meaning

You do realize the the flag would never see the top of the pole under this regime.
