Probably getting pressure from the ACLU and DOJ not to tell the public about certain numbers of crimes committed by blacks, due to a disparity in the percent of minority population to the percent of crimes committed by minorities.
Yep...the police in Charlottesville, VA were trying to sweep one under the rug until one of the vics went to the press...9 DAYS LATER! Now once the vics were caught they are trying to say it was just a dispute...not racial violence.
