In the 1920s, the influential Italian communist Antonio Gramsci wrote that in order to take over a country or a society, communists first had to take over its “institutions,” by which he meant the media, the education system, the universities, the legal profession, voluntary organisations and churches. Methodically, and slowly but surely, his idea was put into practice in our country. What you see is the result. All of those very institutions have been taken over by the far Left in our country, and they are now taking us to our doom.
Unfortunately you are exactly right. They have been in it for the long haul and are focused on the systems that influence politics rather than the political process itself.
