Thing is she hasn’t been consistent. At the time she was not, her story changed constantly.
“To think that Woody was in any way a father or stepfather to me is laughable. My parents are Andre Previn and Mia, but obviously they’re not even my real parents,” Previn said at the time. “I came to America when I was seven. I was never remotely close to Woody. Previn also said the two began seeing each other around the time she was 20-years-old. She told Time magazine “By that time his relationship with Mia was long done, and they were going through the motions.” She added, “They were friendly but rarely went out, and apart from when they worked together or played with their children, had little to do with one another.”

You’re all over the place, Yaelle. Calm down and figure out who you’re fighting with.
There is no evidence he did anything illegal or immoral. None. All people around them at the time say that he had virtually no contact with Soon Yi before she was an adult. He married an adult and is still married to her almost 20 years later. I’m defending Allen against someone (Mia Farrow) who is known for outrageous claims and statements throughout her public life despite how they effect others (taunting Sinatra’s widow, taunting Dory Previn). She and her brood have been making these claims for nearly 20 years and time and again the holes in their story preclude any sort of legal action. Accusation is not guilt. I don’t believe Mia Farrow or her minions.
The allegation is bullsh!t, as was shown by an investigation back at the time Mia Farrow made the allegation; she failed her polygraph test on the question, Woody Allen passed his; the au pair quit her job with Mia and stated that the event had not taken place; furthermore, Allen was investigated, twice, prior to being allowed to adopt, twice.

A book I read years ago - Love & Betrayal - by Kristine Groteke - paints a very negative portrait of Woody Allen. She was the babysitter one the day of the attic incident. She doesn’t know what happened but knows it created an unroar in the house.
Also, I remember her scary portrait of Allen’s treatment of his own son. Of course, Woody was abused by his own controlling mother so I’m not surprised.
I don’t know if the charges are true or not. I’m just not willing to dismiss a young girl’s charges.
Or she’s just been making all this up.
In the midst of the proceedings, on February 2, 1993, a revealing article appeared in the Los Angeles Times, headlined: "Nanny Casts Doubt on Farrow Charges," in which former nanny Monica Thompson (whose salary was paid by Allen, since three of the brood were also his) swore in a deposition to Allen's attorneys that she was pressured by Farrow to support the molestation charges, and the pressure led her to resign her position... Thompson further revealed a conversation she had with Kristie Groteke, another nanny. "She told me that she felt guilty allowing Ms. Farrow to say those things about Mr. Allen. (Groteke) said the day Mr. Allen spent with the kids, she did not have Dylan out of her sight for longer than five minutes. She did not remember Dylan being without her underwear."
Can you imagine the reaction if he were a Catholic priest? People would be howling him down. And quite rightly so.
