I always liked "The Hobbit" more than LOTR.
You can have too much background info. That also happens to TV shows that run for a lot of years.

I read all the Hobit books and saw the movies. I thought they all were very good.

The Hobbit movies take a lot of liberites adding things that were not in the book.
But I still like the movie a lot. Legolas is like a Super-Solider.

Watching the second Hobbit movie was like watching a video game on the big screen.
