There isn’t much entertainment value when for most movies I can see the propaganda, despise the actors, and refuse to part with $15 for both.

One of the factors here is that American Christendom has, for the most part, ceded to the media virtually all influence.
The article Why Christians Should Create puts it very well, better than I could.

But in any case, this idea is very strange when you consider that artists are very God-like in that they create and God is The Creator — i.e. being made in the image of God, it is natural that we too should be creative.

What bugs me is that I JUST saw that the film “Left Behind” (film version of the LaHaye/Jenkins book) is being rebooted and is coming out in October of this year. What REALLY bugs me is who they have to play the lead character.

“Capt. Rayford Steele” is going to be none other than Nicholas “Yippie-Ki-Yay, Mother******” Cage.

I give up.
