All companies have stupid meetings, many of which must be attended as a condition of employment.
I've had to attend company meetings which preach doctrines I do not believe in (such as diversity for the mere sake of diversity).
How is this situation any different? Other than it going against ruling class norms?
I think pretty much everyone believes in hell/death.
Not so. There are huge number of gay-promoting places of worship out there, and hence, there are a lot of lesbians who affiliate with Christian churches. Synagogues, too. “Conservative” Jews ordain lesbian rabbis, I believe even in Israel, but certainly in NYC. And of course the Episcopalians with their lesbian bishops.
