WA state isn’t a Waffle House kinda culture. I’ve lived in both places.

Even Eastern WA and Idaho isn’t. You start drifting into Eastern Montana and then I can see it.

Humility; lack of pretense; good, satisfying comfort food that isn’t ORGANIC or FAIR TRADE; hiring ex-cons to run them - none of that is the PacNW.

Too much new money, arrogance, progressivism, and hypocrisy.

Even in the sticks, you get the new money types buying high-end ranch set-ups and playing like they are country.

Here in California, Waffle House, Cracker Barrel and Dunkin’ Donuts are effectively unknown in terms of real places to eat (though Dunkin’ Donuts coffee beans are sold in California).
