We had a place where you could buy flour bags. Not sure if it was a flour packing place or not. Anyway we went there often because Grandma used them to make quilts. I am sure a few of my dresses or blouses were also made from them since they were mostly small flower patterns.

No it was flour sacks. They were printed with calico patterns and were collected to make dresses.

They were not made of burlap but of cotton. Even had flower prints so women could make dresses. The ones with the name brand on them were made into drawers. I remember and I am not that old.
