We have so many federal laws that the average American commits three federal felonies a day.

The NSA catalogs them all. Whenever Ubama needs an excuse to go after someone they provide him a list of crimes to choose from.

I have been making that point for some time as well.

If you take all the laws that are currently active (whether enforced or not) I have long believed that most people are in violation of the law nearly all the time.

If you read Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn’s “Gulag Archipelago” it is easy to see that is what the Soviet state did. And they did it intentionally.

Even the MOST federally-minded of the Founding Fathers would be stunned and horrified at what government is today. That is our biggest problem.

Liberalism and its tenets act as barnacles on the hull of personal freedom.
