There's a BBC series on The Roku Channel right now, dubbed "Lost Worlds and Hidden Treasures", and s1 e2 is about The Lion Man. The first episode was about the Sutton Hoo Saxon royal burial. That's as far as I've reached thus far. In the UK, the show is called "Raiders of the Lost Past with Janina Ramirez".
