I was acquainted with Al through Doug Adair, who was a close friend of my Father’s. I disagree politically with Al, but he’s a really nice guy otherwise.

He certainly does a lot of variable TV appearances. Hard work, skills and personality gets him his success— not any rotgut ‘poor is black me’ loser victim mentality. Good for Al Roker—but Stephanie Abrams is soo much better to look at.
