Burger King's new all-black burger has black buns, cheese, and sauce

Kotaku's Brian Ashcraft reports on the new all black burger at Burger King Japan, a sandwich with black buns, black sauce, and black cheese darker than a black hole (seriously, the cheese is extremely black.) It looks kind of gross—but I really want to try it. How is this black cheese so dark, you ask?

It isn't plastic—although it looks like it.

The wife makes excellent deviled eggs, though not nearly as often as I’d like. So they tasted great, but turning the egg whites black did not look good.

I’m not crazy about black pasta, either. My husband makes deviled eggs every so often. They’re delicious. He usually adds some mustard and deviled ham. I particularly like them with a dollop of caviar on top.

My teacher made my class some when I was in Kindergarten. It was pretty good, seeing as how you just add some food coloring to achieve the green color. I do not know, nor am I sure that I want to, what this thing has in it.

I made green eggs and ham for my kids one Sunday when they were little. They liked the book but the actual green eggs got a less than enthusiastic reception.

Well, cover your eyes and eat one, I’m guessing the taste is just as good. Or, give samples to a group of blind people and see what the reviews are.

You’re right, the eye-brain connection will put some off on this burger.

Pumpernickel isn’t black. It’s dark brown.
