Thanks for the tips!

As far as the Republic goes, I was more worried about morning coffee and the occasional beer...

Surprise! Both turned out to be no problem!

But I am starting the search for a longer term solution than the cigarette type quickies that I am currently using.

I’ll agree with kaveo and tell you buy a Kanger. Most cigarette stores have them for around $25. They’ll have the batteries to go with them. The Kangers last and you get a nice ‘hit’ off them. They are much better than the stupid ecigs.
I quit smoking 2 yrs ago using a Kanger.

There will be quite a few suggestions and after doing this for a couple of years, I realize I gave up a habit for a hobby. Kanger is good, so is the Visions Vivi Nova. I prefer an eGo Battery and recommend at least 900 - 1100 ma. The adjustable voltage batteries are the best in my opinion. If you want to vape all day, you need at least 2 eGo batteries unless you want to carry a charger.

Total investment should be about:
$25 per battery
$25 for Kanger or Visions
$15 for 3-5 replacement coils (can be cleaned, but will last a week or two each)
?? Charger
$15 - $25 for 30 ml liquid (About 2 - 3 weeks worth)

Your ongoing costs will be liquid and coils for the rest of a year or two.
