Why did the crew bail out? The pilot didn’t.
In a critical situation a pilot might tell the crew to bail out to save themselves but will stay on to try to save the aircraft. We have such people in our military.
The article is poorly written. I can’t figure out if there was 2 men or three. Pilot landed and other man was rescued, without mention of third man. I’m so confused.............:o(
