BUT
IS 'WE FELL SHORT' an actual 'quote' for a 'serious' issue?
Admittedly the Brits have a dry sense of humor but even as sardonic, sarcastic and caustic as I may be, one may think it is really a tad 'over the top'.

Seems Ruttan ignored advice not to go with hybrid engine
using N2O (thats nitrous oxide, aka laughing gas)
Under certain conditions Nitrous oxide can explode because of large amout of energy stored in it (its an endothermic
compound - absords large amount of energy during creation)
Couple years back a tank of this stuff blew up during a test
killing 3 engineers.....
