This is an Army that still won’t let male officers in uniform carry an umbrella. However, everyone knows homosexuals are a very highly protected class and can get away with far more than most others, unless race is called into the equation.
Or wear rubbers. Or push a baby carriage. But the UCMJ say nothing about homosexual officers carrying a purse, an umbrella, or wearing rubbers. It is therefore legally possible that homosexual officers are free to indulge in PDA, while carrying an umbrella, wearing rubbers...and pushing a baby carriage.
