You know, a person could easily mess with the heads of these freaks by earnestly describing the cries of plants as they’re pulled from the ground (cries that are, say, inaudible to the human ear but have been captured by some intstrument or other). All it would take is enough emotion and laying on of guilt. Then what would they eat? Styrofoam?
