Don’t mess with Snoopy! A mass of angry anarchists marched on the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in Midtown Thursday, pushing back at police and barricades as they made their way toward the procession. Emboldened days after cops left them free to clog major Manhattan roadways, the throng pushed against police keeping them from the parade route a half-block away along Sixth Avenue. Seven were arrested as they knocked down metal barricades. Glass rained on the ruckus as a window was smashed on the 10th floor of a West 37th Street office building. Police were not sure how the window was broken.

I had to post this article because out of this whole affair, THIS comment below has to be about the dumbest one yet. Absolutely not one single solitary shred of evidence of any racism anywhere, but somehow she has reached the conclusion it was a racist attack because obviously a white woman like her knows racism when she sees it. I just joined Twitter right now, solely to debate her, and I'm going to constantly write her until she presents to me this evidence of racism that obviously everyone else must have missed.

Beyond that. Around here, media was letting the police chief get away their closing a major four-lane highway a 'peaceful protest". Most of the original protestors were out-of-town agitators with a following of mostly suburban white college kids. I think people who live and work in these places are mostly disgusted with the bogus outrage.

Cities have to think this through. Do they really want people avoiding downtown activities over the holidays?
