Pro-life pregnancy center finds no room at the inn

Suddenly there’s no room at the inn when Planned Parenthood is next door.

A pro-life pregnancy center in Vacaville, CA is the focus of a lawsuit filed by the Pacific Justice Institute. Alpha Pregnancy Centers had its lease revoked days before it was to move into a new facility, near Planned Parenthood. The suit asserts that may be exactly why Alpha was ejected.

Alpha sought a new facility for its growing center, moving from behind a grocery story into a medical arts building. It found a space, signed a lease, paid its rent–and had the rent check returned, un-cashed, saying Alpha wasn’t a good fit in the center.

The suit says that Alpha was victim of a discriminatory breach of contract, leaving the pro-life focused center, with claims they don’t fit in at the inn, just before the Christmas season.

The lawsuit implies that abortion giant Planned Parenthood may the reason why Alpha was booted out. The Pacific Justice Institute says:

“One of the building’s current tenants is Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider. In other cities and states, Planned Parenthood has sought to shut down non-profits similar to Alpha that encourage women to consider alternatives to abortion. “

Brad Dacus, who is the president of Pacific Justice Institute, added:

“During this Christmas season, it is sadly ironic that pregnant women are again being denied access to a place that could offer safety and hope. This time, though it isn’t because there is no room at the inn—it is because of opposition to the pregnancy clinic’s pro-life beliefs. This is not just ironic—it is illegal under California law.”

And because discrimination based on beliefs is illegal, no matter what the beliefs, the suit “seeks specific performance of the rental contract and damages under California’s Unruh Civil Rights Act.” Though this is probably another sad example of the prejudice and discrimination against pro-lifers, it’s not a surprising one. The unwritten rules in the abortion world seem to state that choice is the most important thing–as long as that choice is not life. Even though the executive director of the Alpha center, Diedre Eckle, told a news station that “her organization has never been confrontational with pro-choice providers and respects a woman’s decision if she chooses abortion,” that is apparently not enough choice for abortion advocates. While no one has commented yet, it’s not a stretch to imagine the fear that must have filled Planned Parenthood over in suite 210, not far from Alpha’s planned move in to suite 230. Planned Parenthood may have been imagining that a woman might see another option so close by. How hard would it be to just walk in and ask? It was probably so easy to imagine that no one wanted that choice to happen. Planned Parenthood actually believes that pro-life pregnancy centers are not “legitimate” simply because they focus on life. Their website explains this and gives tips on “avoiding” one of the pro-life centers. Though Planned Parenthood has the gall to say, “No health care provider should pressure you into a decision about your pregnancy. All real family planning clinics will give you information about all your options,” the truth is that Planned Parenthood only pretends to give a fair presentation of all the options as Live Action investigative footage has uncovered:

So when the center was moving next door, likely the abortion-happy organization saw its dreams of dollar signs dwindle. And abortion history shows that Planned Parenthood does whatever it takes to keep the cash flowing at the expense of dead babies. Now the Pacific Justice Institute says this mentality has gone too far, whether it was at the hand of a frightened abortion provider or a wimpy leasing company, the truth will be pressed–probably in court.

Years ago there was an article in Time mag, where genetic scientists discussed the possiblity of determining personality traits from fetal tissue and DNA samples. They specifically cited propensities toward anti-social/criminal behavior and homosexuality as examples. If there realli IS such a thing as a “gay” gene or a “mean” gene, all the pompus, sanctimonious handwringing from the AMA, CDC, World Health Org, etc. over medical ethics will not prevent someone from spilling the beans. Then it will only be a matter of time before a woman seeks an abortion only because her doc told her the “unviable tissue mass” she’s carrying around may turn out to be a serial killer, or gay, or both (think John Wayne Gacy, Jeffrey Dahmer, etc) Then watch how fast the rabid, foaming at the mouth pro “choicers” turn into pro lifers.
