I didn’t realize the radio station I listen to on occasion was an international affair. Apparently Jack FM is all over the U.S. administered by CBS radio while in the U.K. by the BBC. Wondering if Jack FM is anywhere else on this shrinking Earth.
Their format is simple enough. Wisecracking, no request, play what they want so they don’t have to pay an expensive BIG NAME Disc Jockey, cram the commercials in between sets, and run interesting side shows to pique the interest of entertainment seekers. Seems to work.
Considering something to be just plain poor taste in humor has now been escalated to high political theater.
If anything goes hand-in-hand with the current world-wide grievance culture, it is a total lack of humor. What a humorless time.
