As soon as you propose to battle evil, nearly ultimate evil, your own foibles, flaws and defects will be drawn to the surface. This is because it is not a battle against fleshly enemies, but against principalities and powers. You are in a spiritual battle. You will have to expect to be purged of your own faults.
It is in this context that we will be unlikely to easily let rest the unquiet ghost of George Tiller. True, the person responsible for his murder was not in any way associated with the pro-life movement. True, the merchants of death consciously raise the conflict level at the killing facilities to the extent that mentally ill, unstable people are attracted to the strife. Such persons are the ones who have attacked the death-dealers.
But there is a residue of slop-over, among those who, otherwise right thinking and acting, have allowed themselves to be locked into opposition to the abortion industry, ignoring the command to resist not evil.
For this reason, we will have to deal with the continuing legacy of the Tiller killing. It could become our Reichstag Fire, pretext for our being sent off to death camps.

Sorry, that's not really true. He may not have been a formal member of any of the "normal" right to life groups, but he pretty obviously was at the minimum a fellow traveler.
