Your mother is way too old to have Alzheimer’s.

Alzheimer’s is a disease that hits people in their 40s and 50s. Senile dementia happens to the elderly, and can be from numerous causes, like nutritional deficiencies or improper diet.

That's most certainly NOT true, although she is too old to have what would be considered the early-onset form of the disease! Most Alz is not definitively diagnosed until autopsy if at all, and the condition is generally characterized as dementia without a cause specified.
