It’s a big plus for the retailer as well. Shrinkage is minimal, and what there is, is generally by employees and not patrons, is my understanding.
I'm sure that must contribute to their ability to provide discounted prices. Well... really it's not that it's so much cheaper for a jar of mayonnaise, it's that the jar you get for the same money is so much bigger.
I still don't like to go on the weekend because it is so crowded, but the people in the store behave decently.
There floor staff have always been very polite and helpful if I've asked them for assistance.
They also have a very nice store brand. I've ventured into trying them for socks, tshirts, and a sport shirt. The quality of those items, especially the tshirts, has been outstanding.
