Both my blood parents surrender the privilege we had to take my MIL car away after her last fender bender I will go kicking and screaming but will surrender mine with out too much hassle
Last Memorial Day Mrs. BCC and I went out to dinner with my folks and my 83YO dad drove. He’s still OK. My 78YO mom’s health (bad back) has made her the perma-passenger. Mrs. BCC’s mom gave up the keys at about 75 without being prompted. She lives in the same town as all the Mrs’s siblings and I think she knew she raised the kind of children that would pamper Mama. And they do. Good family I’m in with.
