Flash (not) sure causes a lot of flash not responding and computer lockups. Too bad that so many videos try to load adobe (is that spanish for mud brick?). So what is a good replacement besides enabling gOOGLE? I get a kick of seeing advertisements that are can't load because the have to ask me to activate the mud brick.

I have consistent failures with Adobe driven links. When they come up my computer malfunctions and I must reboot. When I do that I get an update notice from Adobe that stalls my computer while it runs and when it finally get done it gives me a message saying my password is already taken and.

Then, I reboot and start over and ignore all Adobe based programs once again.

The only company that compares is Java. Adobe is notorious for bugs and security holes. Their applications are a pain in the rear to manage in an enterprise network due to the constant patches and updates. Just when you get around to testing and rolling one out, another one comes out, and that is for flash player alone. Then there is acrobat... that POS overpriced garbage.

Problem is, Photoshop is best of breed, Quark got lazy on publishing and Adobe InDesign is now dominant for good reason, Illustrator is the best high end drawing package.

The subscription model is what made me swear off of them forever. I am at CS4, and at CS4 I will stay.
