It may have been touted as the steamiest thing in Hollywood - but movie critics rounded on Fifty Shades of Grey for being too light on the sex. In a barrage of reviews published on Tuesday night, most of those who sat down with the raunchy adaptation ahead of its 13 February release date lamented its 'run-of-the-mill' lovemaking. One critic pointed out that sex only makes up 15 minutes of the two-hour runtime. Another pointed out that there are no visible genitals, no orgasms - and not that much nudity.

I bet Charlie Hunnam is glad he passed on the lead for this. Sounds like it’s a big bust....no pun intended.
Ha Ha Ha!
I’m sorry. I find this very funny! LOL!
I guess i just have a twisted sense of humor.
I’ve always been amazed that people rent “unrated” versions of R rated comedies. I always think, just rent some “pr0n” and be done with it.
It’s best to avoid both, of course.
If they want the “raunchy stuff” they are going t need to visit that icky place with “private booths”.
So maybe the movie is worth seeing? I don’t enjoy movies that leave nothing to the imagination.
I heard a rumor that there's porn on the internet.
Those of us who grew up listening to stories on the radio, such as “The Shadow, “ know that the imagination is always more vivid than seeing a picture. The TV generations that followed never experienced the full development of their imagination.
i.e. 1/8th of the movie. Do I want to know what percentage of the book is devoted to sex? Probably not.
Earth to critics, just type in “bigboobs.com” in your browser and enjoy your p**n.
And let the rest of us watch movies worth watching, such as “American Sniper”.
That,s what drives much of the internet, apparently.
What’s sexy about assault and choking someone?
Truth be told, the frustrated critics probably wanted more sx in American Sniper as well.
And I heard a commercial for the ‘50 shades of grey’ teddy bear for guys to buy for their girlfriends/wives.
I wonder when the hair color folks will come out with a campaign: “Free your hair from the chains of its 50 shades of grey. Buy colouro hair coloring.”
I assume that's a rhetorical question. They pretty much always do that -- and it's pretty much always a trivial modification (e.g. a couple of blink-and-you'll-miss-it moments where one of the actresses shows up topless instead of in a bikini) marketed as if it were hard-core porn.
As long as hormonal teenage boys fall for it, they'll keep doing it.
If Charlie Hunnam was in it I might have thought about seeing it. ;)

That stuff -- is not what turns women on.
What turns on women:
***I wonder if there will an unrated Director’s Cut for the DVD***
You mean, like CALIGULA(XXX) and CALIGULA “lite” (R)?
