Bringing race issues into where there previously were none, is divisive, not diverse.

” look no further than the marginalization of African-Americans from the Academy Awards”

Read far enough. Marginalization, or perhaps there was not an Oscar worthy performance from a black this tie around. What’s next? Affirmative action Academy awards, of should it just be everyone gets a trophy like kids soccer?

These miss the point entirely. There are 666 genders that are not represented!!!

Thank heavens. My life can be complete now. I have been worried sick about emoticons which are only white or yellow. Progressivism marches on!

Why can’t the thumbs up/down simply be BLUE (as on facebook) or green (up) and red (down) as on some news sites?

ahh - they originally were yellow, after the “smiley face” of the 70’s, which was the sun.

And in a few hours, someone will complain about the lack of “trans” emojis.

Emojis are so yesterday. Digital stickers are the big thing being downloaded on places such as Line and WeChat. They are huge in Asia and rapidly gaining popularity here. Stickers are used over 1.5 billion times a day in the world.

Virtual Marilyn - VM2 - animated stickers will soon be available in both places and other sites. I am involved in this project. One of the preliminary sites under construction is VM2.tv.

If anyone here has the expertise to build apps, I would like to talk to you about becoming a part of this and other projects.

By the way. This simpleton works for the New York Times

“It reminds me of the way I feel when I’m salty, in a prickly ball of funk that requires a couch, a fetal position, a bottle of wine and Netflix—in that exact order—and that’s how I use it to communicate a foul mood to one friend. With another, however, it only comes up in conversation about Mariah Carey."

Oh, Good Grief. . . Apple is beta testing racially diverse emojis. . . a solution in search of a problem. . . and Asians are already upset about the ones with a slight yellow cast to the skin! LOL! — PING!

Apple RACIST (?) EMOJIS Ping!

If you want on or off the Mac Ping List, Freepmail me.
