I see that the Drudge Report has a headline that reads SCIENTISTS TRY TO MODIFY HUMAN EGGS GENETICALLY. It is about genetic engineering to eliminate the tendency for certain diseases like cancers. But you could do this for other diseases that can make old age terrible. Then you would have a better quality of life when you are old. It is still a question about whether they can change the genes that cause deterioration when you are old.
