Standing 400 feet tall, the new Acuity Insurance Flagpole is the tallest flagpole in North America (#tallestUSflag). Located on the Acuity Insurance headquarters campus in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, along Interstate 43 between Milwaukee and Green Bay, the pole supports a 60-foot-wide by 120-foot-long American flag. Located at the base of the flagpole is a brick paver patio featuring the names of Sheboygan County residents killed in active duty.

You say you won't watch a 6 minute video about a flagpole?
When it's 400-foot tall, weighs approximately 420,000 pounds and was built by patriots, yes, you should.

Thanks bigbob. Cancel Obamacare, use a small, small fraction of the savings (still debt) to erect one just this in every state capital and US territory -- beginning with Gitmo.

How long until someone complains that it makes non Americans feel really, really uncomfortable and demands the flag be taken down?

It looks like the flag is hoisted along the helix tracks running around the pole’s exterior. I wonder if they illuminate it and keep it flying 24/365? I would, just imagine the chore of a daily raise & lower!
The flag alone would be a significant cost and imagine the decision cycle for replacing it as being too worn! Lots of pride and responsibility for Acuity - Kudos!
