As a non-golfer who enjoys watching, I like Bubba and Phil...but probably in reverse order.

A golfer, now into his
golden years, had a lifelong ambition to play the 17th hole at TPC Sawgrass in
Ponte Verde, Fla., exactly the way the pros do it.
The pros drive the ball out over the water onto the small green that is on a small spit of land.
It was something the golfer had tried hundreds of times without success.
His ball had always fallen short, into the water.
Because of this, he never used a new ball on this particular hole. He always picked out one that had a cut or a nick, as did many other “average” golfers when negotiating very challenging holes.

Recently he went to Sawgrass to try again.
When he came to the fateful hole, he teed up an old, cut ball as usual, and said a silent prayer.
However, before he could hit the ball, a powerful voice from above seemed to be booming out from the clouds, saying:
“Wait! Replace that old ball with a brand new one.”

The golfer complied, with some slight misgivings, despite the fact that this same force seemed to be implying that he was going to finally achieve his lifelong ambition.
As he stepped up to the tee once more, the voice came down again:
“Wait. Step back. Take a practice swing.”
So he stepped back and took a practice swing, certain now that this heavenly force was going to make his dream come true.
The voice boomed out again:
“Take another practice swing.”

Dutifully, he did. He stopped expectantly and waited ... A long silence
followed ...Then the voice again:
“OK, use the old ball.”

He doesn't have to win but I hope he's in the top 5 on Sunday and real close to the leader.

He's had a lot of setbacks which can literally destroy your golf mind and I hope he's overcome them.......

A campaign spends a billion dollars and can’t come up with a better president than that?

A much different Tiger Woods in this interview.... In the past he’s been yes or no and very reserved. Now’s he’s open and smiling and thoughtful. I hope he finishes in the top 10 on Sunday!

“My club already has a pool on Round and Hole he drops out on. I took 2nd Round Hole 13. Azalea. Par 5. 510 yards.”

He’ll shank a par 3, take an 8 and call it a weekend.

Wait, that might be John Daly.

I’ve always wondered why a successful professional model would leave her career behind just to work as a nanny for a PGA golfer........

I think he does well enough in the first two rounds and makes the cut. However I also believe the back issues reemerge somewhere near or after the 54 hole mark.

Tiger ready to win? He’s only played three competitive rounds so far this year. He is nowhere near where he needs to be with respect to his game to compete for the championship. Granted, his game is almost ideally suited to Augusta, but his driver has been very erratic and his short game lacking too. I’ll be surprised if, he manages to play 36 holes healthily, he makes the cut.

I think should he make it to Sunday he will suffer thru the last 18 holes if need be....after all he did win the 2008 US Open including 19 playoff holes with 2 stress fractures in his left leg

Bubba Watson, Rory McIlroy, and Phil Mickelson are my top three picks. For a first time winner, I’ll take Jordan Speith or Patrick Reed or Jason Day. And for my out-of-nowhere pick, Ernie Els finally gets a Master’s.

He's saying hello when it's time to say goodbye? Could be too little too late. I can't say he was ever likable. Too remote, too guarded.
