Sorry, you see skin color. You called Tiger Woods a “thug”. Based on what? A thug is a criminal. Someone who commits assault. Who did Tiger Woods beat up? You called him a thug because you don’t like him and he’s black.

At the risk of sticking my nose where it wasn't invited, I'll add to your heated discussion that I consider a thug a guy who cavorts with prostitutes. That is just one of the attributes I assume is in the closet marked "thug." But not the only attribute, of course. So I would go along with r_n on his characterization, and if Blackness enters into the discussion, Tiger has exhibited behavior that parallels that of a rapper as far as women go. But all races have such thugery.

Having said this, I hope that this new, improved Tiger is one that is a good father, husband, and role model. Hope springs eternal; all I need do is look at myself in my younger years.

Since when is a guy who visits hookers a thug? Lets call it what it is. Tiger Woods is black. So therefore he gets labeled a “thug” by the less literate members of the Free Republic just because they don’t like him, and want to call him a scary name.

There are plenty of white guys who have been caught with hookers. The wimpiest, meekest guys you’ve ever seen. And you’d label them “thugs” too? I think not.

Look up the word “thug”. Give me the definition. And tell me how in ANY way it applies to Tiger Woods. You can’t. And yes, because of that, i’m calling you less literate.
