I am a Corrections officer.In the many, many months and years to come the smile will come off. And I’m not saying officers or other prisoners will take it off. Just the fact of prison life will remove it. Prison life is corrosive. And unless you have a strong moral and ethical center it will leave you hollow and alone.

Good; while it is a shame someone had to die, this animal will never again encounter People That Matter (outside of the zookeepers that have to maintain him in his cage).
