John Wayne’s favorite was “Red River” and it was probably the critics favorite too. Red River was just a little too intense for me.
Personally I like “The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance”.
BTW, my middle name is Morrison. The reason being Daddy was very fond of his Maternal Grandmother whose maiden name was Morrison.
One of my favorites for sure too. Jimmy Stewart and Lee Marvin. They just don't make 'em like that anymore.
BTW, anyone ever see the J.Stewart, H.Fonda film, Firecreek? If you liked 'Liberty Valance', you'll surely love that one also.
