But he left one very important factor off that list: flip-flops.”
Went to several stores today trying to purchase a decent pair of summer sandals - couldn’t find any, regardless of the price I was willing to pay. I will wear flip flops before I buy any of those ugly women’s shoes.
Every spring, I start the hunt for summer sandals. I like cork wedges, so it takes a while to find the right pair. But I do have good luck at Rack Room and Super Shoes.
I know I’m in the minority, but I hate flip-flops with a passion.
Perhaps not the most stylish sandals out there, but in my experience, these are the most durable and as far as I’m concerned, are the very best. I live in them most the summer except for when I need to attend business meetings, church, or other situations requiring non work clothes. I’m not sure if such is still the case, but Chaco’s were/are 100% US made out of Paonia CO. BTW, I hate wearing flip flops. Something about having something stuck between my toes and that ‘flip/flop’ sound with every step.
