I have been around cattle all my life and I have never seen cows ankle deep in poop. Pure BS. The cattle men in our neck of the woods take great care of their livestock, spending a lot of money on vets and medicine on their cows.
There are some, but not all cows, that spend their lives in confinement. This is not always the case, and there are efforts to bring back free range meat, or push stores to sell free range (animals that graze outdoors) meat.
I grew up around cattle and I never, ever saw any stand in poop. Ours must have been very smart because they knew to get out of it if they stepped in a pile. We did, too. I do think I saw a few poop in the water they were drinking.

Yeah but you don't see where those cattlemen ship those cows to be fattened on corn feed.
