I’m afraid you’re right.
It’s been about a year, believe it or not, that bashing cops has become the first leap and the “thang” to do.
“We’re all Al Sharpton now” has become the national past time. Everyone is a better detective than the detectives, don’t you know, and a better judge than the judge and as for law enforcement, well, there are blogs and threads full of blame for them as wranglers of show downs, traps and plotted ambushes.
We know it’s pretty bad when we wrap up a case before all the evidence is gathered and the case even heard.
I would like to see a little protest to the protests against cops, frankly. This McKinney cop is in for trouble, because he showed up on time, but didn’t wait for sufficient back up and became a video moment for the media race baiters.
I defend the cops where it is due. I also bash them where appropriate. This guy was a bit too trigger-happy. At least the gun didn’t go off.
Each officer is different. But, at this rate, I’m not sure what to do anymore—cf. the APCs, small tanks, machine guns, &c. that the INS gives them.

Looking at the GoogleBlog....Texas summer does NOT present the race-baiters in a good light.
Tip: The race-baiters of the 60s/70s ragged on Kodak, because the films of that time tended to wash out the highlights in black skin. Black faces would appear as a single-tone area on the frame. (Think blackface.)
I recall reading somewhere that Kodak had “fixed” this oversight by the 80s, ten years after introducing the modern film processes still used today. (E-6 for slides, C-41 for prints, and K-14 for Kodachrome, used until 2010)

I don’t like cops but in this case they were right. In fact, they were more restrained than I would have been.
The residents keep posting “This is not about race.” Oh, yes it is! It was a black woman using private facilities to promote her business and tweeting out to blacks to come take over the pool. The residents should call it for what it is.
I thought it was funny when the cop pulled his pistol the black dude ran like hell. Ha!
Stand by for this to start happening in community owned pools all over the country.

There is SO MUCH MISINFORMATION being bandied about-—we FReepers should be above this and not participate in that effort by the progressives and race agendanistas. Please read this (see link below) analysis by Andrew Branca who is VERY knowledgeable about when the use of deadly force is justified.
By the way, any FReeper who possesses self-defense firearms (or knives or other weapons for that matter) would be well advised to read his material and/or attend one of his training seminars.

Is the “I wish these were brains girl” that the annoying Comcast commercial with the title “Ginger’s Story” with a black girl at school and she is trying to say computers make her feel “smart” spoken in what I can best describe as ghetto ebonics. The most annoying part of the commercial is they will air it twice per commercial sometimes an instant repeat.
