Does it use these moon clips?

No, it's in .45 Colt, not .45 ACP.

Yes a Scottish surgeon used the hooks attached to his cheek bones and did in fact straighten out his neck.

There then seemed to be a good chance that Patton would survive but a blood clot to the lungs is what did him in.

For the longest time, America set the standard for almost everything we made and did. After then 1960s, it is just hit and miss. We still are the standard for most things from technology to movies, but we used to be the standard for EVERYTHING. I hate the decline. Where did we go wrong?

Son, only a pimp in a Louisiana whore house carries pearl handled revolvers, these are ivory.

Oops...the Remington Model 51 was discontinued in 1934. Patton had a hard time finding one as a result.

Colt 1903 .32 - general officers
Colt 1908 .380 - field surgeons & chaplains IIRC

Or was it the other way around?

Saw the 1911 based G.O.M. in the late 1970’s. Now they just issue a M9 & let him buy it on retiring.

A trans-handle (or trans-grip)?

Let’s not go there.
