He married a Fillipina and moved overseas. I don’t know if he’s back now or not. His first (I think first) wife died in Laughlin NV on a trip there a few years ago. He remarried a couple years later.

He impressed me as one who would get into aliens. But that’s only my feeling.
I think he was in the Philippines for a while.

Same here!
I used to listen to Art on my drive's to back to Las Vegas which I HAD to make every week WAY BACK IN THE 80'S.
He was broadcasting from atop Jackie Gaughn's Union Palza Plaza in Downtown Las Vegas!
I was a regular caller way back then! Art's show was POLITICAL and he was RIGHT-WING!
I have nothing but admiration for Art Bell!!
One night, I went to the Sport's Book at the Union Plaza, (because I knew he placed his bets there) and sure enough, Art was there and we had a most interesting converation.
The guy is very smart, but "kookie, " ever since he got into the etherworld. He was GREAT when he was politics! But this new age crap"sells."

It’s going to be primarily a webcast, although some terrestrial stations have been asking him if they can can broadcast the program.He also mentioned last night there are some stations not listed that are on board to carry his show soon. They're just waiting for clearances, and I suspect some of them have contracts with other shows that have to expire first.

John Batchelor had Art Bell on his radio show last Friday. They had quite a conversation !
JB asked Art all kinds of questions, as about new show etc.
AIR the interview was an hour anyway, the final hour of JB 4-hour show.

Did he ever figure out what that was about? Kidding aside, I assume being a serious radio hardware guy he actually found something legitly weird and wasn’t just gonna blame aliens for it but I never followed it closely at that point.
