Yeah, that would be quite the ploy. The only problem is that he’d have burned his bridges with a Dem President, and a GOP President would let him serve out his life sentence.
He’d go up several notches in my estimation, though.

Best solution is for Pollard to die between now and release or to immediately commit suicide. He should not see freedom ever. He is a traitor, convicted, imprisoned. He should have been executed years ago.
