Is it just me, or does this qualify as the most pointless prison sentence ever given in a U.S. court?
Think of all the money that would be saved by using a single round or a rope. What a joke.
Yes, it’s more of a condemnation of our ‘justice’ system than of the criminal.
But then if scientists discover a cure for old age, he could end up being one miserable wretch.
I think it’s meant that he’d never ever be considered for parole. I hope he’s buried in SuperMax out in the Colorado desert and never socializes with anyone again. But then, some liberal governor sometime in the future would commute his sentence to life with parole.
