SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – After 43 years in prison, parole officials again say it is safe to free Charles Manson follower Bruce Davis.

Parole commissioners recommended Thursday that Davis be paroled in the 1969 slayings of musician Gary Hinman and stuntman Donald "Shorty" Shea.

It's the fourth time for such a recommendation, but the 72-year-old Davis remains imprisoned at California Men's Colony in San Luis Obispo.

FReeprs help me out please. I know of Crazy Charlie. I remember those three whacked out chicks that hung out with Charlie. I remember Charles "Tex" Whatever his last name was. I remember Charlie was engaged to Susan 2.0 for a while.

Now who was this dude??? I don't remember him.

Only here in the People’s Republic.

A double murderer and member of the Manson Family can get parole.

This state is truly sick.

It looks like the rest of the Wacko community has jumped on the Manson, Helter Skelter Bandwagon.

The Tate-La Bianca murders...their victims and their killers got the most attention.

But there were other victims of the Manson Family and other murderers that received less attention in the media.

Leftists are always screeching against the death penalty in favor of life in prison. But then, they just try to get life in prison thrown out.

He should have received the death penalty. He should never be released.

Thank you.

I think if I recall only certain Family members did the actual killings. Charles “Tex” (Whatever) was one of them. The girls were there but not sure they did it, or at least at first they did. Can’t remember. I know Susan did something to the Tate woman.

Don’t remember this one.

I know one thing. From what I have seen of the rest of them, all have repented of what they did except Manson. If Manson is never let out I could care less. The others, if they are let out I won’t worry too much. I think they have learned. It’s only this one I don’t know anything about.

Bruce Davis was part of Manson’s “inner circle”, one of only a few men he trusted to be around his women (most men he would chase off because of his jealousy, except for a few he deemed useful).

He was a former scientologist and a musician, and Charlie was both of those, so they were very close. He directly involved in the Shorty Shea murder, and probably others, like the “Zero” murder. He at various times has also claimed to have been involved in other murders that law enforcement doesn’t believe the Manson family was involved in, such as the Zodiac murders. Not a guy you ever want to be running around the streets.

Susan Atkins stabbed Sharon and stuck a fork in her belly.

Charles Tex Watson
Susan Atkins
Patricia Krenwinkle

There was one woman, Lisa Kasabian who was there, but she didn’t do any of the killings, she was a witness and in the car.

I don’t think that’s correct.

I think it was Leno La Bianca that had a fork stuck in his stomach. Believe it was placed there by either Krenwinkel or Van Houten. He was killed by Tex Watson. The two women stabbed his wife Rosemary to death in the bedroom as Tex killed Leno in the living room.

Wow! hard to believe it has been 50 years this month that Manson and his evil minions murdered Sharon, and the LaBianca.

Your right what the heck was I thinking of 50? o well thanks for the correction. Eventhough it has been 46 years, I still recall reading it in the newspapers about a gun being found by some kid.
