I am sure it is heartbreaking, but it was this child’s parents who knowingly endangered him by including him in their invasion force.
I’ve never seen a study that addressed his popularity from the early 30s until his death. It would be educational to review.
It would be my take, that the German press covered for him by force, as our media does for Obama voluntarily.
As I have been told, Political Correctness was in full bloom in Germany in the early to mid 1930s. It can be a very dangerous societal cancer.
I know he was a populist coming off the depression era and Germany’s lackluster days post WWI. His fellow citizens saw him as a savior.
As for Obama and the anti-Christ. Let’s review.
There is Christianity, and Christianity’s enemy (Islam)
There is good and there is pure unadulterated evil
There is enlightenment and 15th century ignorance
There is the goal of co-existence, and the goal of conquest
There is compassion and barbarism
There is focused justice and indiscriminate terrorism
Which side does Obama say he will come down on if push comes to shove?
I realize this will sound hyperbolic, but I honestly think there is something to the claim of him being at the very least a temporary general in the service of the anti-Christ.
You can ask my wife. It's true. When it was clear on election night in Nov, 08 Obama was going to win, I started muttering, "Oh the Carnage" repetitively and started crying. .

This wouldn’t be happening if those arrogant European socialist were more welcoming of the “illegal immigrants” flooding over their Southern border. They should be sending boats and arranging trains to carry them to a better life.
As Comrade Pope would say “people cannot be illegal....” and “who am I to judge”, etc. They should open their homes, schools, and soccer stadiums and provide food, shelter, clothes, mosques, unemployment, welfare, etc. even if it destroys their way of life.
Get used to it ... it will prepare you for being a UN Agenda 21 slave.
While I agree with that in principle, many times I don’t think these folks are fleeing anything. They simply want to go to greener pastures.

This is the end result of Obama’s “Arab Spring.”
More blood on Islam’s hands. More blood on 0bama’s hands. When “adults” take to violence, many are caught in the crossfire. Fleeing the evil that exists in this world can get you killed. No child should die on an empty beach. All these tragedies could be avoided if decency and respect for fellow human beings mattered.

That doesn’t explain the sudden increase in the number of those fleeing, and the fact that they must know that they are not fleeing at this time to green pastures. They are fleeing from being killed.
