I keep various work gloves in the garage. I always stomp on them or squeeze them in my hands to see if I hear any crunching before I put them on.

Had one crawl out of a shotgun barrel yesterday in the garage.

During a rifle inspection while at Parris Island Boot Camp, our DI looked down the barrel of one recruit's weapon and exclaimed,

"What you got down there.....??"

"It's ALIIIIIIVE!"

The rest of us had a hard time keeping from breaking up.
