Speaking of crappy bands, when is the anniversary of Dexy’s Midnight Runners?Dexys was and is still a very solid ska-tinged party band. They have a number of great albums and have been putting on killer shows for 35+ years.

They were not a crap band, in the US only Come On Eileen was a hit, but in the UK they had several. And Eileen was the weakest. Songs like ‘Geno’ (1980) are deserved classics.
Listen to them on Spotify or youtube. They were a damn good band.
