Someone does give a damn, but nothing will change until they give a damn enough to stop behaving like their cousins in Liberia, Congo, Uganda, Zimbabwe, and other African societies.
Is Margaret Sanger’s Planned Parenthood in this community? If so, what are the statistics of helping prevent teen pregnancy? Why don’t their churches preach abstinence? There need to be Godly men leading families, but how to start that seems to demand it come from within the black community.
There's always Evil Whitey to blame. Black activists all say Evil Whitey makes black males kill one another. Don't ask me how. They "internalize" the hatred from Evil Whitey (you and me) somehow and are forced to kill each other. How that makes the people in all black African countries with no Evil Whiteys around slaughter one another is a good question.
But after reading hundreds of articles over the decades from black scribblers/agitators (Ta Nehisi Coates is the latest) blaming Evil Whitey for every single problem in the ghetto, things aren't going to change now or in the near future.
Long as they shun edumacation.
