The link can't "sabotage" the original intent, and the original statement still stands. Some of them may have miscalculated how much they'd make scalping phones. You don't know what they calculated they'd make on the deal, so you don't have an factual basis to say one way or another whether that statement is right or wrong. If you were interested in agreement you'd have noticed that was speculative and not stated as fact, but you latched onto it as if it had been just for the sake of argument.
