Our 4th Ouarter and Final FReepathon of this year starts tomorrow and my purpose for writing is to inform you of a few facts and to ask for your help.
Our 3rd Quarter FReepathon took a record-breaking 71 days to complete, but 64 awesome FReepers signed up to be New Monthly Donors and over 230 very generous FReepers donated $100.00 or more!
Every one of you awesome FReepers know and realize that our FReepathons are taking much too much time to complete and Jim and his dedicated team are wearing out. I am begging you all to please, please, please, try your level bests to get your donations into Free Republic within the first 30 days.

We all realize times are tough, but we all love Free Republic and unfortunately, FR can't run on handsome Jim's good looks alone!
Please do NOT make any donations BEFORE TOMORROW UNTIL AFTER Jim puts up the first thread,

Are monthlies deducted in the interim days between the end of one FReepathon and the start of the next, credited to the next’s amount to reduce the new balance needed?

I remember when Jim posted that “were half of our regular users to donate monthly, we’d have no need for FReepathons.”
I think we run into trouble when monthly donors drop off, because I know our New Monthly Donor Campaigns have always been very successful.
It’s vitally important for monthly donors to check their credit cards statements, particularly when credit cards expire.
